Monday, April 1: ScienceFest: Galactic Getaway at Ann Arbor Hands on Museum. School is out, that means it is time to get away! Come escape day-to-day life as we explore the wonders of the Universe with a week of space themed hands-on activities! We will learn about the planets, stars, & galaxies that make up our Universe.

Monday, April 1: Schools Out Family Jump at Pump It Up: Wixom. School is out, and we are in! Bring the family to our special family jump on days school is out!

Monday, April 1: Who Are You Fooling? at Matthaie Botanical Gardens & Nichols Arboretum. Join us for an April Fool’s special activity day. Make paper masks, play games and find out which plants play tricks! A Make Way for Spring! School Break Getaway program. Join us for week of fun during school spring break.

Monday, April 1: Family Jump Time at Canton Pump It Up. Come play on our giant, soft, fun-filled interactive inflatables during Pump It Up Family Jump Time! Share quality time and promote physical fitness while bouncing, sliding, climbing and jumping at Pump It Up.

Tuesday, April 2: Baffling Bill Magic Show at Ann Arbor District Library. Baffling Bill returns to AADL for an afternoon of extraordinary magic!

Tuesday, April 2: Mario Kart Tournament at Novi Public Library. Start your engines for the round robin competition of this 4th annual tournament. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers.

Wednesday, April 3: Sketchbook Detectives at Matthaie Botanical Gardens & Nichols Arboretum. Explore how scientist-detectives unlock the mysteries of ecosystems. Find clues hidden throughout the conservatory and learn sketching techniques for capturing nature.

Thursday, April 4: Is It Spring Yet? at Matthaie Botanical Gardens & Nichols Arboretum. Hit the outdoor trails to look for signs of spring. Then warm up inside with hot cocoa and make your own special blend to take home.

Thursday, April 4: Travel Through Tales To The Himalayas at Ann Arbor District Library. Check out the colorful rickshaw on the Downtown Library’s front porch and experience the rich culture of the Himalayas through stories and crafts!

Friday, April 5: FestiMoon at FestiFools. This sublime moonlight event features enormous processions of community, hand-made illuminated sculptures carried by dancing teams of merrymakers as they thread their way downtown to Washington and Ashley Streets in the heart of Ann Arbor.

Saturday, April 6: Earth Day Tales at Leslie Science and Nature Center. Celebrate Earth Day with tales about how you can do your part to care for the planet. Children will also plant seeds and use recycled items to create a work of art.

Sunday, April 7: FestiFools. A new local tradition, kicking off Ann Arbor’s outdoor festival season, FestiFools is a gigantic public art spectacular, created by members of the community and U of M students.

Sunday, April 7: Jump Club Sessions at Hot Ropes Jump Rope Club. The club will introduce your jumper to individual skills, partnering skills, long rope skills and, double dutch skills. Beginners are welcome!

Sunday, April 7: Dancing Babies with Dianne Dudley at Ann Arbor District Library. Dianne, a teacher in Ann Arbor Public Schools, presents a program of music and motion.
