Thanks for looking!

1. Huntington Woods family is seeking a part time flexible, on call-type nanny/house manager for their 3 daughters, ages 14, 12, and 6. They are looking for someone who lives very close to their home, who can help mostly in the afternoons pick their girls up from their various schools, take to activities, help with homework and other house hold duties. There will also be house management/personal assistant duties expected. No major housekeeping needed. Must be extremely flexible, as their carpool schedule changes quite frequently. Mom does not work, and will be helping with all the car pooling duties. She will text the nanny in the morning with her schedule. The hours and days are rough estimates of what they think their schedule might be. M-Fri 2:30pm-8pm. Must be willing to work at least 3 weekend nights a month. They do require either a Friday or Saturday date night shift. They also would like someone to work about 4 hours on Sundays (scheduled ahead of time). This family is looking for a part time nanny, but is willing to pay a full time salary of $500 per week no matter how many hours the nanny works (usually around 25). They are looking for someone in the age range of 23-35 specifically. Must have clean driving record, professional, able to handle 3 girls at once, no texting while driving at all, and must have at least 3 years of full time nanny experience. Position starts ASAP.

2. Royal Oak family is seeking a full time nanny for their 3 year old daughter and 7 month old son. They are looking for Mondays 10:30am-4:30pm and T-Fri 7:45-5 (6 at the latest). Family often times comes home early, and let’s the nanny go early. They would prefer someone older, who has had their own children before. This family would consider allowing a nanny to bring their own child to work (depending on how everyone gets along/ages) if it was the right fit. This family wants someone to stick around for at least a few years. This is a long term, professional nanny position. They prefer someone who has been a long term nanny previously. They will require pertussis boosters and flu shots (they will reimburse) and hope that their nanny has CPR/FA certifications. Must have your own car, as there is driving involved. Hours will rarely go over 45 in any given week. They are offering a weekly salary of $440, plus 2 weeks vacation, mileage reimbursement and holidays off/paid. No housekeeping will be involved in this position as they have a housekeeper every two weeks. This family prefers a soft spoken, more laid back type of nanny. Position starts ASAP.

3. Busy family in Bloomfield Hills needs a chauffeur/nanny for two 15 year old children. Nanny will be responsible for picking the kids up from school 3-5 times per week and taking them to their various activities. They need someone with a great driving record. The children need to have snacks/light meals prepared for them in the AM and evening. The hours vary from 3pm-8pm at the latest. Mom will pay for a full hour in the afternoons if she only needs you to pick them up and drop them off. The children will need to be taken to activities occasionally on the weekends as well. Pay is $12/hr plus mileage, or a flat $15/hr whichever the nanny prefers. Mom is an ER doctor, and knows the kids schedule and hers a month in advance. Some light house keeping will be requested (occasionally folding clothes, dishes etc) but no deep cleaning. Position is all year round, and starts October 13th.

4. High end family in Bloomfield Hills is searching for a full time housekeeper with some childcare duties. Family has two daughters, 3 and 5 years old who attend Cranbrook. This position requires that the housekeeper work 4 days during the work week, and every single Saturday night. This family needs a decent amount of flexibility, to accommodate their changing schedule. They are very easy to work with, and can also accommodate changes in the caregivers schedule when needed. Hours are approximately 9am-5pm during the week, and Saturdays from 4-midnight (or later). Family is asking for 40 hours a week of housekeeping, and are paying a weekly salary of $600. Two weeks paid vacation, paid holidays, and travel with the family included in package. They also give end of year bonuses. Family is wiling to pay housekeeper legally, or just pay cash which ever the caregiver prefers. The family is asking that the housekeeper occasionally pick the girls up from school, make them snacks, engage with them etc. Family often travels, and will either leave the girls at home with caregiver, or ask that the housekeeper stay in their home while they are away. Family has one small dog, a long haired cat, and a guinea pig that will also need attention. This is a very long term position for the right candidate. Must have experience as a housekeeper in high end homes. Experience polishing silver, doing large amounts of laundry, and being a self-starter is required.

Must apply on our website, include resume, references etc and meet all job requirements to be considered for these positions. Many more jobs will be available  in the upcoming weeks ( school will be starting soon, so families will need before and after school care) so stay tuned for more openings!
