“Would You Rather” Questions for Kids
See below for free printables from PrimaryLearning.org
“Would You Rather” is a fun and simple game that children (and adults!) can play. It provides kids with two options, posing the question of which one you prefer. For example, children could be asked the question, “Would you rather be a movie star or a famous athlete?” Another example is, “If you could only eat pizza or ice cream for the rest of your life, which would you rather have?” Or, “Would you rather have a cat or a dog?”
The beauty of “Would You Rather” is that it can be played almost anywhere. For example, kids can play during a long car ride, when they’re stuck in the house on a rainy day, or when they’re in the waiting room at the doctor’s office. All you need to play is questions. While you can make up your own questions, you can also visit https://primarylearning.org/activity/100-would-you-rather-questions-for-kids/ to find 100 questions, all ready to go! The questions are on topics that kids are experts on, like entertainment, pets, food, and sports!
Another added convenience of “Would You Rather” is that any number of children can play. There is no limit to how many kids can weigh in with their answers. “Would You Rather” is also a great game for a variety of ages. You can choose simple questions like “What do you like better, red or blue?” or more thought-provoking questions like, “Would you rather be very funny or very smart?” You can tailor the questions to young children right up to adults.
The next time your child says, “I’m bored” or if you’re looking for something to cure the, “Are we there yet?” questions in the car, pull out “Would You Rather!”
