Ann Arbor Full Time March Start

**Nanny Position for Dual MD Family -- March 2025 Start**

A busy, dual-MD family is seeking a full-time nanny to begin in March 2025 (early to mid-month), after their baby's arrival, which is expected on January 12. This position will be Monday through Friday, with hours typically ranging from 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM. While the family's work schedules in the surgical field can vary, they will commit to a minimum of 40 hours per week. Some weeks may require afternoon-only care, or hours from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Given the variability in the schedule, they are looking for someone with prior experience working with physician families who is flexible and understands the demands of this lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

- Childcare: Primary focus on caring for the newborn, including bottle feeding (and bottle cleaning), diapering, and general newborn care.

- Light Household Support: No food prep needed at this time, but other duties may include tidying up after the baby, managing baby's belongings, and ensuring a smooth daily routine.

- Pet Care:The family has a 40-pound Labradoodle named Bean. While no formal pet care is required, the nanny should be comfortable with the dog's presence around the home. The family has dog walkers arranged and Bean may also go to a local daycare, but she will often be around.

Schedule:

- Start in March: 7:00 AM to 4:00/5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

- The schedule will likely shift due to Mom's anesthesia work, with typical hours ranging from 45 to 50 hours per week, and up to 60 hours in more demanding weeks. Flexibility is key, and the family is open to someone willing to take on additional hours.

Compensation:

- Competitive pay at $25+ per hour, based on experience.

- Guaranteed hours, PTO and possible OT hours offered in benefit package.
